Nonrenewable or Renewable: Which One?

"Nonrenewable or renewable?”, that is the question people ask themselves often. Renewable is something that you can use over and over again. But nonrenewable is different. You can only use it once. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. No one can bring it back.
I believe that we should stop using nonrenewable energy. This is because it is bad for the environment. Animals can be covered in oil spills. Nonrenewable energy releases greenhouse gases. Another reason why I think that we should stop using nonrenewable energy is because we might need it later.
I don’t think we should use nonrenewable resources anymore because they are bad for the environment. They create greenhouse gases. There is a limit as to how much greenhouse gas we need. If we get too much, global warming starts. According to Google, this is a problem because, “temperatures are rising, drought and wildfires are starting to occur more frequently, rainfall patterns are shifting, glaciers and snow are melting and the global mean sea level is rising.” Oil spills are also a problem. These spills will often kill marine animals. Therefore, it is not good to use nonrenewable resources.
Another reason why I think we should stop using nonrenewable energy is because we might need it later. If there is a natural disaster, like a volcano erupting, or a tsunami, or a tornado, we will need energy to help communicate with the citizens. Well, what if our solar panels are destroyed? What if it is cloudy, and there is no sun out? And if our wind turbines are knocked down? The hydropower dams are destroyed? What do we do then? The solution is to use nonrenewable energy for as long as it takes until we have rebuilt and created new solar panels/wind turbines/hydropower dams.
I think we should stop using nonrenewable energy because it is bad for the environment and we might need coal, oil, uranium, and gas later. What do you think, should we keep using nonrenewable resources and make the problem of global warming and animals dying even bigger, or should we start using more solar panels and wind turbines and hydropower dams to power our homes?
